Remember me Jens? My name is Staffan and I lived in area R a few houses from you. I think we were classmates or at least we used to play a lot. I could have been one of the kids around the pool but I don’t think I am there. Thank you for sharing this film.
Hi I remember you. My parents still got some pictures of you and the rest of my class during my 7th birtsday. Didnt you move to köping after Africa? Go check out the movie clip I got from Tollberts visit in yekepa. Just search on yekepa at youtube. I will upload more movies there. I Still got at least 10 minutes of yekepa thats is interesting for others than my family. (To much clips on us kids)

Do you know when the pool movie was filmed as I am most intrigued by the sound track.
I lived in Yekepa as a child 69 – 72. If I am not mistaken you hear a childs voice say “hey Baxter I am right up here” around 25% of the way into the clip. How amazing would that be if he was speaking to me….

I left Yekepa in 1969. I think this movie is from sometime between 1975 and 1979.

Your movies have brought back so many memories of my days in Yekepa. The film of the pool really had me believing it was filmed whilst I was there in’69…. I also “raced” at the go kart club so another favourite is your uploaded film on the club.
The film of the flight over Yekepa also brought back great memories ….my father learned to fly at the Grassfield aero club and the aircraft looks very much like the piper cub that he trained in.
I am now hoping you have, and will upload some more Yekepa memories
